God provides (#11)

My second summer on staff for Carolina Cross Connection,  I served at Camp McCall in Bostic, NC.  It was a wonderful summer where I gained and learned more than I ever imagined.  One thing I have carried with me from one of the people on my staff was his daily God sightings.  Jack, who served as a program coordinator with me, used to share how he saw God in the way that God lined up the people and places for Jack to be on a daily basis.  When he shared that the first time, I thought well duh, of course God does that.  But now, that I am older, I can clearly see what Jack was saying.

Flashback to the summer of 2006. Man we were young.

Throughout my life I have been blessed by many people.  People that seem to be in my life at the right place, at the right time.  And I know that it is not coincidence, but that it is God lining things up for me. I don't think I take enough recognizing all the people God has placed in my life.  All the places He has sent me, etc.

I am thankful for those who were in my life as a child, for those who dealt with me as a teen, and especially those who have been with me through my 20's.  I am amazed at how God opens doors at just the right time and at just the right place.  He is always guiding me and looking out for my well being.  In just the past few weeks, God has opened doors for conversations with people at church that have brought me peace and encouragement- people that have been in my shoes years earlier.

I look forward to the future knowing that God will continue to provide while holding on to the truth that our God will show up and show off.
