the gift of a trio (#14)

I am very blessed by my small family.  I love my family more than I could ever put into words.  God has given me a mother who loves me (and my sister) with every ounce of her being.  She did all she could for us, plus some more, when we were kids and continues to do so now that we are young adults.

From the time I was in the 5th grade, my family became a trio- my Mom, my sister and I.  We were like 3 peas in a pod.  Now don't get me wrong- everything wasn't always peachy, but we stuck together through it all.  We had so many adventures and had fun all the time.  To this day we dance, sing, make up songs, you name it- all in the name of good ol' fashion fun.

There's something great about being from a small, compact family.  We have so much interaction with each other on a daily basis.  We are there for each other at the drop of a hat.

Cheering on the Deacs at a football game!

Our family has grown over the past 4 years and I'm sure will continue to expand in the coming years.  But I hold onto my trio- to the love that we share and the memories that bond us together.

Mom and Annie Hughes- I love you both very much and I don't know where I'd be without either of you.  I look forward to the next 30 years with you two by my side.
